It’s hard enough choosing what to wear to a wedding as it is, without having to include a baby bump in the equation.
It was however quite a heart warming experience for me.
I hate to say it, but I’m one of those women who is constantly touching ‘it’.
And by it, I’m talking about my bump guys.
I like clothes that flatter and flaunt my new rounded feature because my hands automatically place themselves there anyway, in prime position to highlight it.
After trying on maternity dresses, loose kaftan type crap and more maternity mishaps I decided that I was just going to go as me rather than pregnant me.
And that was it.
I found “the one”, stuck to a style that would flatter most women and felt fabulous.
The five month mark is hard. You’re at that stage where you feel half pregnant, half one-too-many-cheeseburgers.
But we gotta get over that, embrace the new you and in my case, the new chest that’s happily come along with it and face the fact that right now, our body is pretty bloomin’ fantastic.
